Vanessa Cywiak is a Research Fellow at the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion (CMC). She is about to complete her PhD in the relationship between cognitive bias of high-risk pregnancies and the development of postpartum PTSD and postpartum depression. Also, she is interested in the relationship between emotional regulation as a preventive treatment for postpartum disorders and attachment complications. As a Clinical and Educational Psychologist, she is also interested in Mindfulness-based therapies as a tool for emotional regulation in this population. Vanessa's Personal Interests include hiking or trekking, meditation, yoga, crochet, eating and trying new food, watching TV series, and reading books.
