Susan Fairchild, MA, LMHC, is a psychotherapist in private practice, meditation teacher, and educator whose work integrates psychotherapy, contemplative practice, self-compassion, and somatic awareness. A certified Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher, she serves on the Board of the Institute for Meditation & Psychotherapy and is faculty for its Certificate Program in collaboration with the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.
Susie co-created an adaptation of the MSC program to support psychedelic-assisted therapy and has advanced training in both MDMA- and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. She works as a study clinician with Massachusetts General Hospital’s Home Base Program and the Providence VA. Her personal meditation practice spans more than three decades, primarily within the Insight tradition, and informs her work with individuals and groups to cultivate greater compassion, connection, resilience, and belonging.
