Josh Phillips is a Senior Research Coordinator at the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion. He currently supports the Our Whole Lives and BE WELL with Migraine GEMINI studies, but has been a member of the CMC team since 2021; in that time he had dedicated his efforts to the Mindful-OBOT, CDC Remote-Motivational Enhancement, and HeartSmile EEG projects. His research interests revolve around attachment theory as it relates to meaning-making, stress regulation, emotional development, and relational dynamics, at both psychological and neurobiological levels.
In his free time, Josh enjoys writing and performing music with his bands in the greater Boston area, playing and teaching guitar, cooking, surfing, rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with his local community.
