Hannah Block joins CMC as a Clinical Support Fellow. Hannah is a graduate student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she studies child and adolescent development amid uncertainty and global change. After several years leading randomized controlled trials on education and crisis-mitigation interventions in rural Kenyan schools, she now works with Harvard’s Human Flourishing Program to design and evaluate interventions that promote resilience and flourishing for youth and families. Her research focuses on designing and validating measures of flourishing across childhood and adolescence and on transdiagnostic approaches to well-being, with a particular interest in relational and contemplative practices that foster connection, regulation, and adaptive functioning.

In parallel, Hannah serves as an Advisor to the United Nations Environment Programme’s Faith for Earth Initiative, where she explores how young people cultivate the inner resources needed for resilience and sustained climate action. Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, wandering in the forest, swimming in the ocean, and salsa or two-step dancing!
