Eshan Sayani is a fourth-year medical student at Texas A&M College of Medicine pursuing a career in psychiatry. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has interests spanning mental health, healthcare innovation, and advocacy work. Outside of medicine, Eshan is deeply involved in Austin’s running community, enjoys film photography, live music, and all things coffee.
Featured News: CMC was awarded a research grant titled “Neural and physiologic effects of self-compassion on chronic pain” from the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. This grant provides seed funding for a pilot neuroimaging study examining self-compassion training for people experiencing chronic lower back pain.
