Ella Yu is a clinical support fellow at Center for Mindfulness and Compassion at Cambridge Health Alliance. She graduated from Boston College with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy, and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at Tufts University School of Medicine. Her studies focus on interdisciplinary and holisitic frameworks that support mental and behavioral health through systems-level thinking.

Her research explores trauma, immigrant mental health, and family dynamics across both empirical and theoretical domains. She also serves as research assistant at the Trauma, Spirituality, and Flourishing Lab at Boston College, and Family Resilience and Child Development Lab at UMass Chan Medical School. Through CMC, she investigates how mindfulness serves as an integrative healing practice that strengthens the mind-body connection.
