Peggy Kim Meill is a graduate fellow whose focus is to help develop a fundraising plan for the Center. She returned to school (Lesley University’s MA Program in Mindfulness Studies) some forty years after completing her last round of studies at Brown (Asian History) and Vassar (Political Science). She is keenly interested in the benefits of mindfulness, especially as related to pain (physical and mental), the aging process, international relations, and the culture of work. Her career has been committed to mission-driven institutions with significant and positive impact upon the lives of the disadvantaged. Peggy is an immigrant, a global citizen, a late-bloomer in meditation, and an avid learner – in her grand-mothering, traveling, studying, and living – and doing so with intention, equanimity, and joy.
