Esteban da Cruz is a mental health counselor, clinical addictions interventionist, and E-RYT 500-certified yoga instructor with over a decade of experience teaching yoga and mindfulness to adults, adolescents, and children, as well as facilitating groups and consulting with healthcare organizations including Harvard Medical School, Cambridge Health Alliance, and Mass General Hospital. 

A polyglot with a diverse background, he has worked at CMC as Spanish Programs Coordinator, Research Assistant, live online instructor, group facilitator, and educator/consultant. He holds a level 2 certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and is trained and certified in several Mindfulness-Based Modalities including Mindfulness Training for Primary Care (MTPC) and Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement (MORE). He currently works with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental distress and co-occurring problematic substance use at Ellenhorn, a dual diagnosis facility in Arlington, MA.

He studies and practices closely with several seasoned teachers, primarily in the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and specializes in wellness, spirituality, addiction recovery, and psychedelic medicine. His time is devoted to practice, family, work, and art; his teachings and practice are devoted to the cultivation of kindness, compassion, and skillfulness.
