Mindful Self-Compassion Course Overview 


Over a course of 8 sessions plus a half-day experiential retreat, the Mindful Self-Compassion program covers various topics.  The session topics include:

  • Session 1: Introduction to the concept and practice of self-compassion

  • Session 2: Introduction to the concept and practice of mindfulness

  • Session 3: Introduction to the concept and practice of loving-kindness

  • Session 4: Practices to develop a compassionate inner voice

  • Session 5: Exploration of core values.  Practices to develop compassion for self and others

  • Session 6: Development of skills to deal with difficult emotions

  • Session 7: Practices to explore coping with challenging interpersonal relationships

  • Session 8:  Practices to relate to positive aspects of oneself and one’s life with appreciation


In this Mindful Self-Compassion program, you will learn:
