Lauri Klein, LICSW will be leading an intensive mindfulness group through the outpatient psychiatry department at CHA for alumni of any 8-week mindfulness-based courses (MBSR, MSC, MBCT, and MTPC). This group will allow patients to strengthen or renew their mindfulness practice within a smaller group setting, emphasizing continuity. It gives an opportunity for people to develop ongoing mindfulness and then apply it to improve emotional health, deal with life's challenges, and enrich their lives.

Each session will include:

  • A guided practice

  • Time to discuss the practice and personal challenges along the way

  • Home practice assignments for the week

The group will be ongoing, and asks for a 12 week commitment with an opportunity to re-enroll at the end of the 12 weeks.
